Gibby v Lifeline

Sorry if this is too small for a topic but I didn't see a daily discussion.

With the weekly challenge of 30 kills with lifeline, wraith and wattson I've been using lifeline a lot. I know the Gibby jokes are a lot of jokes but I've also seen lifeline mains that seem to legitimately feel like lifeline has been replaced with Gibs. I've mostly used Gibby since season 2 so I've got a lot of experience with him.

Lifeline is such an upgrade when it comes to healing. Having that shield every single time she heals is awesome. It's so much more powerful than Gibs. I get revives off consistently with her during scraps and alternative between a revive and fighting is awesome. There's no competition as far as combat medic goes. And more importantly you don't get rushed as soon as you revive the way you do when you drop a shield dome. That tiny hitbox is nice too. It makes her much more flexible than Gibs in terms of fighting style.

My only real complaint is her ultimate. I remember using her when I first started playing in pre season and thinking her ultimate is way underpowered. I still think it is. Although it's nice in end game for creating additional cover when your team was beaten to the good spot in later rounds.

Anyway, maybe I'm nuts but I don't think the gap between them is really all that big.
