Out minding my own business collecting bio stuff on a mini-jaunt out to Chameleon sector, out past Musca Dark and not too far from Coalsack. Nothing to speak of on most of the trip, a couple days (I can only play a couple hours at a time, even during holiday off).
But on my way back toward the bubble to turn it all in, was surprised out of a half-daze while travelling by the unstable corridor sound effect. Dropped, instant two interceptors aggressive. Boosted past them (explora-Courier), silent running, started to try and line up to star when the shutdown wave hit. I think (not 100% sure) I managed to engage Silent Running just before it hit….pretty sure I failed to hit FC Off as I was not tumbling during shutdown. Heard them scan while I was drifting, booted back up into almost immediate barrage and heat damage. Fired off boost, heat sink (fortuantely still had one left after the occasional mis-fuel-skip), and got the heck out of dodge with fortunately little damage.
I do have a Guardian FSBooster, so possible that was the reason for the insta-aggress, but not sure. Guess it's possible iwth the high-perf thrusters I was far enough away from them that they were barely scanning me about the time the shutdown was wearing off, otherwise I think if they'd been aggressing the whole time I'd be toast.

Wonder if we're "blockaded" all the way around, and only the Maelstom systems happen to 'intersect' the bubble??
