Pissed off.

Been a console player for a long time. I've played Elite for a couple years now. Love it. What else can I say. It's seriously like the one game I play on the regular.

Anyway, upgraded to the Xbox Series S because my OG Xbox One had began to crap out. The fan was super loud and would start to rattle… anway. I did my research, I knew my disc version of ED wouldn't play on the all digital Series S. But I contacted Microsoft and checked ahead of time to see if there was a way to transfer the license, especially since there is no Series X availability. The rep I spoke to assured me that a content transfer from one console to the other would work around this issue. Stated that since all my game data would be transferred via wifi… the system would also transfer my entitlement to the game.

$299.99 plus tax later… of course it didn't work. Now I'm forced to either pay the monthly $14.99 for Game Pass… or fork over another payment for the one time purchase of the digital download of the game.

Needless to say… I'm a little pissed. I love this game, but the thought of buying it all over again is leaving a bitter taste in my mouth.

Any fellow Xbox players out there… avoid the Series S.
