English not my first language, and I got served.
Here's the rule: when you have too many items in your backpack, NONE of the items in your backpack will get loaded as they normally would.
PSA: NONE of them. NOT ONLY the items category that are full.
Example:
In my backpack I have 50 assets, 30 goods, and 20 data. In my storage, I have 999/1000 assets, 100/1000 goods, and 100/1000 data. So obviously, it's just the assets that I gotta manage, right?
So if I manage my asset and sets 49 stuff that I don't want into my backpack and got 1000/1000 of assets in storage, accepted the transfer, all is fine, yes?
Not quite. Because when you go back to the warning/boarding screen where it says "NONE of the stuff in the backpack will be loaded", what do you think going to happens to the 30 goods and 20 data?
Yes. I've always thought since my goods and data never a problem, it'll get loaded as normal, only my 49 assets will get discarded.
WRONG. Nothing on my backpack will be loaded. Nothing.
That's about 30 manufacturing instructions and about a dozen Power Regulators I never realized I've been destroying after farming them for a few hours.
FML.
TLDR; when warning says NOTHING in backpack will get loaded, none of it will. So when you manage it before loading, *MAKE SURE YOU TRANSFER ALL TYPES OF ITEMS* not just the one/couple that are going over the limit.
