After 7+ hours on streets between online and offline, here’s my summary for the BASE map, NO KEYS

As with Lighthouse, my main goal of each wipe nowadays is to grind the new maps and find out all the good shit, and then run it online and get rich off of it. I don't bother with questing anymore until I'm forced to because of reputation, I just run the new maps for loot and fun/pvp, and Chad-Factory to level, then when I'm forced to because of reputation, I'll do some quests.

I'll list a few problems I have with the map and go into detail about it. I'm incredibly disappointed with the state of the map, I will say that out the gate.

Problem Number 1: LOOTdisclaimer: I do not have any keys, this is a complaint not regarding keys and the loot behind those keys, but instead the base map and what is loot-able in that map.

All the "good" loot, rares, electrical, military electrical etc, is really just on the right side of the map, and also the factory on the left side

The bottom right side of the map is absolutely loaded, the abandoned factory on the left side is also loaded with hideout items, and technical spawns, but no rares as far as I could tell or find inside the Abandoned Factory.

There is a TON of jackets, filing cabinets, and loose technical spawns throughout the map, however I don't really consider that to be "good" loot, that's pretty standard for every map at this point

However, the left side where the hotels are, as far as I could tell, is completely BAREN.

Don't bother going to the Pinewood HotelDon't bother going to the THEATER (you can't even access it)Don't bother going to BECTINDon't bother going to NIKITA

The loot is pretty bad overall, considering how long it takes to get out of the map from where you spawn. except for if you spawn right side of the map, in that case, you're chillin.

Problem Number 2: DOORS

disclaimer: I know this is part 1 of part 2 streets, I understand that they're going to extend it. point is that its poorly done even when considering that its going to be extended.

There are hundreds of doors in this map that look like they should be interactable, or at the very least, have a "breach" indication, but nope. They literally have nothing, they are just 2d models on the wall.

It is so bad that you'll enter a building, go up a set of stairs, go to the top of the stairs, see these doors that should be interactable, and they're not even "breachable." again, they're unfinished and useless doors, and you're now stuck in a dead-end because of it.

Here's an example of a doors that should be openable or at-least interactableHere's that same door on the corner, with another right-side door

Right side Door opens, no problem at all, alls good.Left side Door not even an interact message

Here is another example. Here we have a restaurant, the FCK

You can go in the restaurant no problem, after which you're greeted with 2 doors and a counter that leads into the kitchen. The kitchen SPAWNS FOOD, yet it is IMPOSSIBLE to reach this kitchen. You cannot open the bathroom door, you can't open the employee side door, and you see that glowing exit sign that SHOULD indicate its possible to enter? yeah, no. its not. If we go around the back we're greeted by, you guessed it: three more 2d-do-nothing doors. At least one of the doors has a 3d model of a lock on it lmao

(This is the other side of the building, btw.)

Now, what do you think is down this huge wall of buildings? Located hereThat's right, a shit ton of empty doors that look like they should be interactable.Kostin clothing store is another example of a building that pisses me off. Okay, the door is all boarded up, but you see that window? That is an invisible wall. You cannot access this building at all. Around the corner is the car extract so there's no possible way of getting into it right now.

Another big example of something that should be accessible is the Movie Theater. Why is it even on the map if you cannot, in any way, access it? Just close it off with fences or something

And it doesn't stop at fucking DOORS, there's even unlootable technical/medical/food crates. thats just evil

Problem Number 3: EXTRACTIONS/SPAWNS (LEFT SIDE IS FUCKED)

So what if I told you that if you spawn here at the Sewer River extraction… You can leave no problem at the broken crane

But if you spawn here at the damaged house, YOUR ONLY EXTRACT IS SCAV CHECKPOINT.The Sewer and the Damaged House are probably 100 meters from eachother, yet you can't take Crane or Evacuation. Why?

If you spawn underneath the movie theater, you have ONLY ONE extract to take that's always up, and that's Scav Checkpoint. You can also take the car but that's a band-aid fix. you're literally spawning in, seeing you have a shit spawn, then taking the car extract and leaving.

OH BUT GUESS WHAT, THE CAR DOESN'T HAVE A 100% SPAWN, so you could just be fucked and have to go to Scav Checkpoint.there's an obvious advantage when it comes to spawns

SO TLDR

The loot sucks on the left side of the mapWhen you spawn left side of the map, you're fucked and have to travel across the map or take carCar isn't always up even when you spawn next to itWhen you spawn right side of the map you have an extract on the same side, and all the good lootDoors that lead no where, or Doors that aren't even doorsLocations that look loot-able but aren't

edit: By the way, this is just my subjective opinion, I am in no way claiming that the map is designed poorly as a whole, there's just things that I wish weren't released how they are

Let me know how you guys feel and maybe if you have a differencing opinion, let me know!
