There have been a massive uptick in posts about how “scavs are broken” or “I just got 1 tapped” etc.
This seems like an unpopular opinion here, but scavs are not as difficult as they are being made out to be.
They spawn in roughly the same areas every raid. They have little to no armor and likely no helmet. They stand still when not aggro’d by a player. They scream a voice line a lot of the time before even shooting at you.
If you’re having trouble with scavs, you probably just aren’t fighting them correctly. If you’re holding angles and going shot for shot, you’re doing it wrong. Reposition (by breaking line of sight) and get an easy headshot while they are staring at your old position.
Sure you’ll die every now and then, but that’s Tarkov. You die all the time.
Scavs are easily taken care of with a single headshot, which is incredibly easy when they are standing still in the same spawn they are at every game.
This is my 3rd wipe with thousands of SCAV kills across each individual wipe.
