I've been playing odyssey all week and I'm yet to complete a single foot mission due to failing. Just seems like a complete chore.
get mission to steal shit, get detected stealing shit, mission failed, killed, sent to jail
get mission to kill someone. Using starter gear, impossible to get kills without dying, go to jail
upload something illegal, get seen by AI, scanned and killed for carrying illegal shit, go to jail.
try and clone a profile, but some AI solider 176 light years away spots me doing this, get killed, go to jail.
I picked up a container of fucking chemicals by accident once. Oh look, that guy is stealing some toilet cleaner, lets call in 20 guys to kill him, and then send him to jail.
get mission to do some shit, got scanned, didnt know I was wanted for some reason, get killed, jail.
On top of that, the absolute faff of booking a shuttle, riding the shuttle, getting back to the shuttle. It's a fucking snorefest. Even worse when you die and it becomes "taxi back to your ship 5 jumps away simulator" And all of this for 80,000 credits. Or I can fly to a nav beacon and kill one pirate for 4x that amount and 10x less time and hassle.
Tell me why this is worth the grief?
