So last wipe I played for about 3/5ths of the wipe. I had my own reasons for quitting when I did, mostly the fact that I kept encountering far too many squads that ruined the fun for me. The thing I find the most appealing about the game is the looting aspect and when facing squads all the time you can't enjoy your kills properly. The second thing that bothered me was how most maps weren't even worth playing because all the good loot was on interchange, specifically graphics cards and tetrises, as well as other tech loot which due to crafting requirements remained expensive throughout the whole wipe…
Now there's a new wipe and on day 1 yes mothefukin day 1 people are already rushing tech stores… I was doing interchange because I wanted to loot items for the hideout so I decided to check the tech stores myself to look for activity and low and behold a pile of bodies at the top of the escalator and a guy looting them. I killed him and then I started counting bodies. I found 7 bodies in the area and after I got done looting and tried to leave, I got head eyesed by another guy coming from oli. So including me that's 9 people in the tech store area…
I hate to say it but if you guys expect this wipe to be any different I have bad news for you. Not only will this wipe not be any different, in fact I predict that's it's going to be even worse. With the changes to kappa and how people don't give a shit about tasks for the most part, tech store rushing will be the only thing that people will care to do…
I wish they removed graphics cards from the game completely, or spread them out evenly through the maps or something because this is going to throw another wipe down the drain. I'm sure the usual suspects will just downvote this meanwhile they are speed running tech stores since minute one of the wipe trying to get as many GPUs as they can. If this is what you want the game to be then you aren't thinking long term.
I ended last wipe with 210 million roubles, two thicc cases full for slicks, and lvl 5 rigs and over 150 meta guns in my stash, not to mention the helmets I never got to use. I didn't even realize a wipe was coming so I didn't get to use any of it. I realize now how dumb this mentality of hoarding for the future is… My account got wiped and I never used T7s, barely used a reaper, I was too cheap to run 995s so I ran 55a1 all wipe and had 210 mil unspent..
