Aren’t bronze armor supposed to be bad ?

I just started playing Valheim and right now I am in Swamp in fully upgraded bronze armor and holy shit it's good. Like I can take on every creature without fear of dying. Recently I went farming wraiths and it went perfectly.

But I came here and found nothing but post saying how incredible bad is bronze armor and how much better is troll one.

Am I missing something ?

Like I admit I have rather slow playstale and mined quite lot of bronze and tin.

But still, this notion that bronze is absolutely shit seems rather overblown.

And Yes bronze armor slows you down but you can fight your way through the swamp.

In troll one you may be fast but nearly everything can easily kill you. That in my opinion is not worth it when we take into consideration you scour swamp for reacorses and sunken crypts.

Plus if I reading wiki right you can fully upgrade bronze armor nearly immediately ( I taken advantage of this and my bronze armor become evan stronger ).

With troll armor you can't upgrade fully until Mountains.

Tldr: Honestly all wanted to say is that bronze armor is truly not that bad. For slower more careful playstales it may be actually better.
