Okay I know people are prone to call cheats in Tarkov, but I think as a community, we have gotten to the point of being able to distinguish legit kills from cheat kills. And it feels like devs are looking the other way. And please don't try to justify the kills as being legit, I keep seeing this where a guy posts his cheat experience and everyone is ready to jump at the guys throat trying to justify it as a legit kill.
Customs has become really bad ever since the expansion.
So Just now me and my buddy were at paradigm office. I had a face shield. So I was peaking from the office window to the entrance of paradigm that is on the crossroads side. Anyways the moment I peak my head I get shot on the face shield which doesn't kill me but instantly get shot on the same region and I die. It was really suspicious but I'll give it a pass, maybe the guy had a leveled up recoil control or some shit. But what made it obvious was my buddy, who was not peaking whatsoever got shot through the wall on his face. Now this is a red flag.
I love Tarkov, it is the most fulfilling and exhilarating game I have played but cheaters have started to ruin my experience, and your guy's too.
So what can be done about it? there have been countless posts about it, but feels like nothing is being done.
-Phone number authentication (not a complete solution, but another hassle for cheaters and hackers, will somewhat reduce the numbers of cheaters.)
-If you join a solo game, allow the player to watch after death. Since you joined solo you watching the game has no bearing on other players. This feature will somewhat act as a deterrent to cheating as the hacker will now he is being watched.
-Add an overwatch system like cs:go
All in all cheating will always exist in PC, it's just the way it is, but we can make it a less of an occurance if it's done the right way.
