I've dabbled in Elite here and there for the past couple of years but always found it a fairly lonely game in the sense that I'm in the middle of nowhere with just NPC's.
Aside from the recent console announcement of Odyssey not happening, what's it actually like to be in a sector of space and with an active community? On console specifically?
I'm not planning to come to PC version, but just wondering if it's worth the time investment to find, join and travel to a large community, relatively speaking, on console?
I'd be interested to hear from you if you are in one of these active console clans/communities and hear about how active it is and what the realities are really like?
Can you please tell me what it's like as of today and entice me to give it a try?
I'm in EU/UK timezone and on Xbox Series X.
