Hello all. I see a lot of people talking about how much they enjoy the flee market being increased to 20 or perhaps wanting to increase it further. And as much as I do enjoy a lot of the pros of this, I can't help but feel absolutely overwhelmed with my inventory. More then my 1st wipe as a new player and this is my 5th.
"You must be hoarding lots of good stuff, just sell it to the vendors". One of the pro's that people mention is we get to focus on quests/hideout. Well over 50% of my materials are for my NEXT hideout upgrades. And 20% are for quests within a reasonable timeframe. I cant keep any materials for lvl 3 Hideout as I would have no space, or any quests above lvl 20 (I'm level 12 currently). The rest of my inventory is a handful of guns and medical supplies. I even sold all my food/water other then 2 Kvass.
"Well then learn to sort better". Everything is stashed in varieties of efficient Tac Rigs for space (Blackrocks, Azimut's etc..). And I take a part each gun's grip and ammo cartridge for more space. I do admit, I have probably 10'ish item slots of items such as folder with intel…but common am I expected to vendor sell the super rare items?
Currently my biggest gripe is that I feel punished for being decent at the game. In what way? In the sense that if I survive 3 raids in a row, I have to make sacrifices that every other edition doesn't. I sell almost every gun, future quest items, decent mid game ammo for guns I'm currently not using…it's crazy. I can't consider collecting Kappa items till at least 1 month into the wipe. And if I have a bad day (which we all have) and die 3-4 runs in a row. I'm back to practically bare-bones VS every other addition that gets to thrive a bit longer.
Ultimately, I'm less salty about more money spent = more stash space. Instead I can't really use my roubles for anything… I'm sitting on 1.8 mil but all I can do is hold it till lvl 2 stash? Why not create way more barter trades that allow us to get some of the core early game cases? Such as the Ammo Case. Make it so the case is in no way cost efficient VS the flee market, but a way for us struggling with inventory to get access to it. Or give us an easier path to lvl 2 Stash?
Anyways, sorry for the ramble. Let me know what you think/how you're handling this wipe. Besides this I'm having a great time.
TL;DR: I'm a Tetris master and yet I barely have 10 slots free.
