Feeling bad for accidently making a player scav shoot me as a scav and getting karma from it

So when i play as a scav i normally just try to loot and helo other scav players and such. I know some people try to trick new players into shooting them so they kill them and get free scav karma and i've seen someone trying that on me before but luckily i got what he was trying to do. But a couple days ago i did a scav run and found intel, vodka and some other things i needed for quests so i really wanted to get out alive. I turned a corner and there was a player scav, i accidently shot the wall next to him cause i got scared and the guy started shooting me blacking out my arm and stomach. I tried not to shoot back at first but then i figured he won't stop shooting i killed him and got karma out of it. I kinda feel bad for that but it was honestly kinda funny. Are there people who consistantly try to get free karma that way or is that considered being a degenerate so you shouldn't do it?
