Fleet Carrier for casual player ?

Hello there,

I suppose this type of questions must have been asked a hundred times but hey, bear with me, I don't have that kind of time.

I actually have over 1100h in the game but gladly put myself in the "casual" category because I play once or twice a year for a few weeks, 2 months tops. I have a full A-fit full engineered Cutter and some other ships to vary a little from time to time and actually a balance at 1.4b.

Here is my question : Is a Fleet Carrier worth for someone like me ? I mean yeah it must be fun to have a "home" and be able to move all my stuff at once, put everything near the POI I'm in and it give an objective to the game but I can't help myself to think that it's still waaaaaay too much expensive (price and upkeep) for the use I could have and the time I play the game per year.

What do you guys think ? And are all people that have a FC play the game 80% of the time to keep it relevant ?
