As the title says I want control in the game similar to how EvE gives their players control. Elite Dangerous has the perfect platform to allow players to control and run their systems, I get the Frontier has their story with the Xenos and such but just focusing on that makes the game feel single player.
I want to be able to have control over where to build stations and settlements, have mining mean something other than just money grinding. The only control we have right now is mainly with flight carriers and those feel lack luster for the most part.
It would be awesome to see sections outside the bubble get populated and built up by players so when exploring around the galaxy you might run into a random settlement a player built just to be there or have sources for mining with a station but enough to hold the chunky ships.
It's something I would love to see the game move towards after they finish their single player story.
