Ever since i first started playing this game, ive been marveled by the complexity and the intricate way that this little game operates, theres always something new to learn, something else to improve upon and something new to do, yet, the predominant emotion (and i know that i am not the only one) that i feel while playing this game is: rage.
Ever since the first game, i introduced daily rage into my life. This game has made me a very angry person. I am so used to rage that its started to affect my family life and my relationships with others and i know its not just my fault, cause everytime i quit playing the rage goes away and i become a more pleasing person to be around.
That being said, i really hate this game´s match making system.
Its a system porpusely done to induce addiction, ever felt you cant gain mmr despite you playing good? Why you sometimes get impossible games to win? Why after grinding and implementing everything you learn about dota somehow you end up in a losing streak?
Its the system. It keeps you addicted with the promise of improvement and "gaining mmr". Its the same as ludopathy, by losing you reenforce the addiction and keep wanting to "play another game" until you win. Balancing skill levels and mmr to give both teams a decent percentage of winrate.
These are just a few aspects on why i think dota is such a bad game. There is way more, but every second i manage to stay away from it i get happier and happier, my life is so much better and i honestly dont want to ever go back to that sht game that consumed my time and life to "gain mmr".
