My internet connection is bad, so I usually only play against Unfair bots and usually win. I thought about doing some random sharing today. Here are my playstyle in a nutshell.
-I generally only play ranged heroes because I can't last hits with melee ones, except with Bristleback because of quil spray
-When I'm unsure what to build, I just get a BKB
-Yes, I toggle Vambrace and power treads
-My micro management is beyond horrible, so heroes with illusions or Invoker are out of the question. Don't even mention Necronomicon
-I generally know which heroes counter which heroes, but this doesn't mean I can execute those heroes
-I generally know what items to build to counter certain heroes ie get mana burn if you're against Medusa, but I'm still generally terrible
-I have a very bad reaction time and have trouble looking at the map while still controlling my hero
-I don't know where to place wards, let alone where to de-ward (when I play Venomancer, I litter the map with plague wards)
-I know what smoke is for and how it works, but never bought it or understand when is the best time to use it
-I place a sentry ward when we do Roshan, to check if there's enemy ward around
-I play on the Radiant side so much that I struggle when I play on Dire side, because I have to look at the map upside down
-50% of the time my stacking, pulls and blocking failed
-For the first six months of playing Dota, I only played Death Prophet because all I had to do was spam Q in lane and press R in team fights (there was no Death Siphon yet, but a passive for E)
-Heroes I'm sort of decent at now are – Death Prophet, Necrophos, Lina, Crystal Maiden, Razor, Jakiro, Skywrath Mage
-Heroes I should stay away from – all STR heroes, as well as Invoker, Naga, Meepo, Arc Warden, Chen
-Heroes I've tried playing but suck at – Juggernaut, Abaddon, Wraith King, Shadow Fiend, QoP, ES
-Of the few times I played with friends who had decent MMR, I did okay
These are ones that I can think off right now! Just getting them out of my chest =)
Edit:
-I don't memorise the recipes for items or where they are placed in the shop, so I have to manually type the names of the items I want to buy (I only just recently found out Eul can be upgraded, what?)
-Many years later, I am still hoping for a Reaves' announcer pack for "Magnus, no!"
-I know I should maybe take off stat items when using bottle charges in the early game, but I don't because my reflex is so slow I might end up getting ganked while doing so
