I have two friends who had been trying to convince me to play tarkov for well over a year. Whenever I would look up the game online I only saw negativity and people on this sub commenting on how bad it is, so I figured the game sucked and didn’t bother.
Well I finally caved and bought the game, and holy crap nothing else compares to it. The detail and design of the maps is simply unrivalled by anything else. The gunplay is better than anything developed by AAA studios. The hideout, progression, gun modding, ammo, skills, armor etc. is just amazing. There is truly no other FPS on the market that offers an experience like this. The game has bugs and issues (worst audio ever) but good lord so do all other games of this complexity. Safe to say I have never been so addicted to a game and I really don’t see how any other games can offer the same rush as this one does.
So now I am trying to convince my other friends to buy this game. I know they would love it but they are all of the opinion that “everyone says that game sucks”. Most of them search Reddit or google to see player reviews and think the game must be a joke.
Sadness. It’s ironic as more players buying the game would help it’s development. But hey at least I tried to convince others to play.
