I cannot pen armour because I do not have access to the flea market. I cannot do quests in customs because I'm getting instantly killed by people who can easily pen my level 4 armour and headshot me from construction while I'm running at a full sprint in the woods between dorms and junk bridge. The ONLY automatic weapons I can buy right now is the kedr and MP5K, which are complete balls if I'm fighting face to face. Even if I find an M4 or an AK74, the best ammo available can't pierce armour at all, and my character handles recoil like a starved child soldier with the attachments available at level 1 traders. Seriously, I got into a fight earlier and shot a guy 28 times before he died to my M855 because he was in class IV armour. I can't even buy a VEPR hunter from Jaeger. Why? I don't understand why new players are subjected to such a shitty early experience. Even though I have a million roubles and a k/d of 4, I can barely make my money work for me with level one traders. I've been playing for 10 days now on and off and I'm still only level 9. The "rich grow richer" game-design mentality in Tarkov has driven me to my limits today, and I'm honestly tempted to put the game down until something improves.
