Is there still a good way to rake in money without Oddessy? coming from someone who hasn’t played since the gold rush of LTD when I’d bring back a load worth billions

I haven't really touched the game since fleet carriers very first got announced and were horribly received. I had gotten burned out, the fleet carrier news was the last straw, and I was also rich beyond belief since I played the game with my best friend like a second job for a month straight everyday after work hauling the and selling LTDs for the max amount around the nearest best selling stations. I know the void opal days were also good money too. This was also around the time when Odyssey had not yet released but we were hyped for it. I haven't heard much about it as I've been away from the community but I've never bought it. Does anyone think Odyssey is still worth buying? I don't really expect it to have any influence on the money making economy, as that would be absurd.

I recently decided to get into VR and want to get back into the game, so this out of the loop cmdr is asking if there is a new meta to making money, or is LTD still the way? We used to use asteroid maps as well, although I'd mostly follow my squad mate as he navigated.

I briefly jumped back in the game half a year ago and me and my squad mate decided to get in our explorer anacondas and head for the center of the universe, so it would be quite the trek back after we finish our vacation. But man. I loved this game and miss the space trucker, space-beauty, vibes.
