It's the last qualifier for Gwent Open #2! Let's see what everyone brought. All decks can be found here.

Nilfgaard (16 total decks):

  • Double Cross Assimilate (12)
    • w/Fercart (11)
    • w/Lydia (11)
    • w/Imperial Diviner (10)
    • w/Squirrel (10)
    • w/Van Moorlehem Hunter (10)
    • w/Tourney Shaelmaar (2)
    • w/Cantarella (1)
  • Imprisonment Assimilate (3)
    • w/Runemage (2)
    • w/Joachim (2)
    • w/Truffle (2)
    • w/Cantarella+Gorthur Gvaed (2)
    • w/Artorious Vigo (2)
    • w/Lydia (1)
    • w/Blightmaker+Mage Assassin (1)
  • Imposter Practitioner Spam (1)

Nilfgaard surged ahead this week, with Assimilate becoming the most popular deck brought this week. Fifteen of sixteen players brought some kind of Assimilate, most choosing to go with Double Cross for that extra Runemage synergy with a few opting for the sometimes more tournament friendly Imprisonment. Finally, Infern-Ale decided to try his hand with the Practitioner Spam deck we sometimes see show up in these events.

Syndicate (15 total decks):

  • Off the Books Devotion (13)
    • w/Philippa (11)
    • w/Kurt (8)
    • w/Tinboy (2)
    • w/Gellert (2)
  • Off the Books GN (1)
  • Blood Money Bounty (1)

Nearly everyone brought a Syndicate deck, just like last week, and once again it was overwhelmingly the Off the Books Midrange deck. This week no one decided to try non-Devotion, and the variance in these decks was much lower than we've seen recently. The biggest difference in some players' decks was the Tinboy to use as a potentially massive wide punish.

Scoia'tael (12 total decks):

  • Deadeye Ambush Elves (9)
    • w/Maxii (8)
    • w/Heatwave (7)
    • w/Surrender (7)
    • w/Toruviel (1)
    • w/Arcane Tome (1)
    • w/Great Oak (1)
    • w/Bearification (1)
    • w/Munro + Chariot (1)
  • Guerilla Tactics Dwelves (1)
  • Precision Strike Dwelves (1)
  • Precision Strike Dwarf Hybrid (1)

Elves became significantly more popular this week, leaving the various Dwelves and Dwarf Hybrid decks in the dust. There was a decent amount of variance in the Elf decks, with some interesting choices like Great Oak or jamming in Munro and Chariots.

Skellige (11 total decks):

  • Ursine Ritual Self Wound (8)
    • w/Harald Houndsnout (7)
    • w/Oneiromancy (5)
    • w/Ermion (3)
    • w/Decree (3)
    • w/Dorregaray (1)
  • Reckless Flurry Aerondight (1)
  • Reckless Flurry Madoc (1)
  • Blaze of Glory Warriors/Raids (1)

Self Wound continues to be the most popular SK deck, and the most variance comes in the form of the consistency package the players are using, preferring either Oneiromancy or Ermion + Decree. We also had two Reckless Flurry decks with Compass including another Madoc variant from Sif_Great_Wolf and Infern-Ale choosing to play Warriors.

Northern Realms (10 total decks):

  • Stockpile Siege (9)
    • w/Radovid (8)
    • w/Heatwave (6)
    • w/Margarita (6)
    • w/Muzzle (5)
    • w/Mutagenerator (4)
  • Inspired Zeal Alumni (1)

Siege is still fairly popular, now with an almost even split in Mutagenerator and Non-Mutagenerator decks. It's John`Sally with the spice this time, choosing to opt for an Alumni deck instead, which I'm sure many players have PTSD from. His version includes the newly buffed Viraxas.

Monsters (0 total decks):

This season is planned to end on July 5th, 10:00 A.M. CEST.
