Most important in the patch? Fix the matchmaking.

First some background

I have about 4k+ hours of dota 2 since 2015. Before that I played a lot of HoN and before that dota for wc3 tft, housing in the dota.invite at The IRC network Qnet.

My best rank/mmr is about Rank 250 EU. This was then aporx 7350 MMR. Around autum 2019. My most played heroes was Timber 3, Tiny 2/3, Slark 1, Lion 5, Tinker 2 (He wasnt like he is today, you all know) , and Sky 2/4 and then a mix among others.
With longer breaks (due to work and stuck with Wow).

My longest breaks was during the transition of the ladder system and during wow classic period. I got back to the game around 5-6 months ago. I played up to like 5k mmr (Divine) and wsste shitton of mmr kosing with Willow that i never played, but i needed role games. Over the months i was aprox on a 42-47% winrate. I started to play with friends again and hovered betwwwn 3 and 3.8k mmr. The fluxation here is strange.

Then, i found a new friend in a discord that was much much lower mmr then me, but really good player (hes 100% in our inhouse days, and we have everything between 700 and rank 3000 immortals in the games).

Either way. We are prob on a 25% winrate and I am now down to aprox 1900mmr. When we 2 stack it just dosnt matter if we completely destroy our lane and I end up with Phase – Armlet – Deso – Shard and half way to blink at 20mins on WK as an example. Or if we play 3-4 and I have dual bracers, phase and blink on LC in 12 mins and their pos 1 dont have jack shit. Games are still often unwinable.

Not cus our teammates is allways worse, trust me I am also a part of the problem apparently, but there is games where we lost 2-38 and I have 3x the nw of my own team and same as their second and not died.

I am also at 10k behaviour (er booth are) and we never ever play, comeon, we are 36y old boomers.

But then. Magicaly. We get on streaks. Looong streaks of winning. Can be 12 game streaks, but most of the time 4-7 games.

To then just crash. Into dire kosing streaks, solo or duo queue dosnt matter.

This aint just a thing. The streaks of lm winning and kosing is just strange and how this matchups works, i just dont know. But its not fun. At all.
