So I just bought a new PC – after several years of having none – and I am now in the process of configuring it. Playing Elite in VR is one of the reasons I bought it, and I'm very excited for it. Setup summary:
- Ryzen 5600X
- AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT
- 2×8 GB RAM 3600 MHz
- SSD m2 nvme
- Hotas: VKB Gladiator NXT evo premium + TWCS
- Monstertech chair mount
- Oculus Quest 2
The thing is, they have come up with this Legacy/Live versions of the game, and I don't know which one should I pick as a new player. I hear Legacy has less features and will have no updates but has way better performance.
- Is my setup good enough to play Live in VR, or should I stick with Legacy VR?
- Graphic settings are daunting with the combination of Legacy, Live and VR. Are there any big go-to settings for good performance?
