When I saw the ST reveal today I got excited and quickly crafted my first take on new Harmony – of course still waiting for patch notes to see if other harmony or ST cards to be reworked -.
However the crazy Idea of what if I craft a deck with both Scenarios and I quickly put it up and it looks scary to me, especially if you are able to pull both Scenarios in round 3 (kinda difficult but just dreaming), then it came to me that all factions will get a second scenario which means that hybrid double scenarios will be possibilities for all factions and make it a fair game.
on one hand it will raise complexity and skill level of the game imo yet also will raise the question of how fair the game will be if one player finds one scenario or none while the other finds them both and what to do with your hand if you have both scenarios round 1 etc etc..
On the other hand maybe it will be safer for the game to restrict the deck by having one scenario only.
I know that Scenarios will be too many provisions and that building a successful hybrid deck will be more complicated and challenging yet I think it can work out and give a solid outcome.
I mean just imagine NR with Siege and soldiers scenarios and think of the synergies that could happen with a leader like pincer maneuver and tons of cheap thinning that grants you all cards you need. it will be just broken.
This could also open the way to a long round 3 since it will be OP to go to round 3 with 2 scenarios in hand, you can actually build a deck full of bronzes and why not throw in 2 scenarios and a mushy truffle and you won't even care about golds, or play the secondary scenario to secure round 1 and keep the main scenario to round 3
Thoughts everyone?
