Radovid & Pincer Maneuver

I don't recall seeing discussions about the Radovid & Pincer Maneuver, perhaps since everyone was excited about Uprising and Shieldwall. The ability to draw a card of your choice 4 times is incredible. Sure you can draw & play all your Golds, but it goes beyond consistency and deck polarization.

Like if you have 2 win conditions, you can mulligan & "Pincer Maneuver" away your second win condition pieces, without the fear of not getting them back in a later round. You can really focus on one win condition at a time. For example with this list https://www.playgwent.com/en/decks/f961bba233f20cd6f36e0b9f874663f9, I play Raffard's Vengeance R1, and mainly want a hand full of non-Machine Bronzes and Winches. Normally its not ideal to put great cards back into your deck – but not with Radovid. Siege being the second win condition in that list.

Or if you are bleeding, or being bled R2, it could be beneficial to "Pincer Maneuver" away your Gold cards in order to save them for R3. With that mentioned list, I've put Shani or Donimir back in deck to prepare for a short R3.

And the fact Radovid generates more Volunteers, its (carryover) points, and also (carryover) Crew setup. For example the power level of Foltest's Pride is really dependent on Crew. I do wish Pincer Maneuver allowed us to pick what row the Volunteer is spawned in though, I sometimes had to deal with awkward placements.

The list mentioned actually originated as an Uprising list https://www.playgwent.com/en/decks/guides/290840. Despite being almost identical lists, the leader ability really changes the flow and style, mainly when it comes to the pushing and bleeding aspects of the game.
