Rogues need more brain, less aim

Of course the AI should be hard to fight. But as it stands right now they move like clueless sentry turrets. To make them "hard" BSG has overcompensated with their aim instead of improving their intelligence.

Like, why do Lighthouse Rogues stand out on the open rooftops, in clear view of sniper sightlines? None of us human players would stand there if it was our job to defend the camp.

BSG could do so many things to make rougues challenging but fair to fight. Maybe the machine gunners spray and suppress in the general direction of your sniper fire, at first very inaccurate but progressively honing in on your shots until you reposition or die. Or maybe they panic and retreat to defend from indoors. Now as they run down the stairs you only have a few seconds to eliminate them with accurate fire before they get inside, where you have to clear them out in close combat.

But instead of fixing their positioning, BSG buffs their aim. The root issue still remains – they are easy pickings standing in the open, as long as you can get a proper right-hand peek to prevent them from seeing and shooting you in the first place. (They AI is literally blind to right-peeks because it thinks your thorax is hidden behind cover, when your exposed eyes can clearly see them.)
