So what’s the solution to cheats then?

Based on the other thread today about testing hacks (and just in general over the years from DOTA players upset at cheaters)… so what is your hypothetical real solution that would work?

The main question I'm asking, is if yall would be okay with kernel-based installed solution? Consider the following points:

— There is no other truly effective solution to cheats. Plain and simple.

— If you think there is, then name me one competitive online PC PVP game that does not have cheaters, that does not use a kernel solution. Also that's massly popular. I'm not aware of any?

(The reason I add that criteria is because if there's some no-name game that only has 500 players, then of course there's a lot less chance of hacks being made because no one cares.)

My point is quite frankly I think a lot of yall in this reddit would rant and be outraged if DOTA installed a kernel-solution. Admit it and be honest.

And yet we hate the cheats & hacks. But you can't have your cake and eat it too, the tough potential solution is there.

For me, I would be fine if they went the Valorant way. I'm not paranoid about hypothetical issues
