In addition to the obvious buffs and nerfs we want post TI, I thought of a few other, slightly less discussed things which could do with a tweak, in my opinion:
–Bristleback shard – my hot take is that the shard is maybe even more broken than the aghs. Maybe the best shard in the game. Reason – it perfectly synergises with his kit, it costs minimal mana considering it's effectively 3 of his normal spells. Its range is absolutely huge which allows BB to gap close even better, and for some reason it REVEALS HEROES IN FOG!?
–Magic Wand – my hot take is that this item is just too value, and too ubiquitous is almost every game. It feels rare that I see a sidelaner without a magic wand nowadays. It contributes heavily to the powercreep of the early to midgame where people never seem to stop casting spells. Especially value when you remember that neutral creeps also give you charges for some reason! A little rework or nerf would be very refreshing to the laning and mid stage of the game.
–Veil of Discord – this is a pretty cool item but just still rarely gets bought on anyone. I don't think its numbers are bad but this item's issue is related to heroes (even supports) getting slotted pretty early in dota nowadays. When you consider the trend of most mid-cost items getting upgrades in recent years (echo, vlads, euls, drum, mage slayer, helm dom, blink etc.); the lack of an upgrade to Veil is conspicuous.
Interested to hear people's thoughts – but if you're gonna disagree at least give a reason, rather than some dumb echo -chamber, hating-change comment.
