Taking a moment to acknowledge the Valehim Reddit Community.

Maypoles, Flower/Berry Spawns, & Seed Crops should increase honey yield.

I have been gaming a long, LONG time. And through all those years, I have stumbled onto many message boards and communities dedicated to <insert game here>. All of them have their moments of being extremely toxic, sometimes funny, sometimes boring. It is a community. Lots of ideas and opinions and let's be honest, not always all that nice or pleasant.

We always take time to review the games being discussed but tend to not acknowledge the community when we get a good one.

I have been lurking Valheim sub for quite a while. Finally getting it from Gamepass and installing it. I was so lost. I had no idea where to start or what to do. I am new to the survival genre and I have never played Minecraft or Ark. My son plays them but they never seemed all that interesting to me.

I came here day 1 and literally asked "what am I supposed to be doing exactly?" I am used to games with quests and arrows telling me where to go and what to do. I have never played a game that literally drops you in, tells you good luck and sends you on your way. Sure, I got the responses that I "should learn to read" from a few folks. To be expected. The issue wasn't listening to the raven. It was that I didn't understand you could pick up scraps off the ground to make tools. Once someone told me that, I was off to the races. But I digress.

Keep it up Valheim sub! You guys are one of the best game communities I have been a part of. Tolerant of subpar builds, encouraging people to keep going and keep building. Giving extremely useful tips and tricks and just being an overall pleasant community to be a part of.

You guys rock!

Now, back to building.
