So after work last night I was having a few beers and prepping for the Moder fight. Had a nice outpost, extra food and potions. Set up a secondary camp in an old castle for a fire and close respawn.
I guess the beers got to me because just as I was going to log I think "Fuck it we do this now!!" Turns out I didn't bring any potions and not much food. Was holding the fight well including three curious stone golems. However I was running out of durability on my bow and was down to two swamp food items.
I decided to make a run for the secondary camp to try and get rested bonus again. Turns out Moder can absolutely demolish those buildings. Destroyed my bed and now I'm in big trouble. Night has fallen and I eventually succumb to Moder and log out in frustration after waking up at the starting stones.
Sail of defeat completed this morning and I'm back at it. Wish me luck!
