As a new player that just stumbled into a seasoned veteran comment section grumble fest, I could use a little optimistic ED pick me up. I'm looking to start digging into some of the many 3rd party programs out there to expand my ED experience, and thought it would be fun to hear some of the specific ways yall have utilized these tools to enhance your gameplay. It'd be great to get a little inspiration and sense of what's possible. Plus, I figure nerds LOVE talking about the lengths they've gone to nerd the nerdy things they do even nerder. So, share with me your favorite scripts, widgets, or tool functions that you find extraordinarily helpful or added that special dose of panache to your game.
Just to set a baseline, I already use with an (compulsory imho), though I'm sure I've barely scratched the surface of its capabilities given the textbook sized instruction manual it comes with – at this point all I've really done is set custom voice prompts for existing commands to better fit my conversation style.
