Will Valve deliver? BP and patch

So it seems that the new patch will be released sometime before September 3. Probably August 27 earliest.

I assume that the BP will be released at the same time or later. If they could release it earlier, then the end of Major (Sunday, yesterday) was the perfect time. Now this urgency is gone.

Considering the wait time, I can only hope that both the patch and BP are really great.

While patch quality is difficult to measure, I guess only by the number of significant changes, but who's to say what's significant: map is the obvious candidate, but otherwise I don't see that many options, unless they rework all shards in game.

The BP quality could be measured by the number of empty levels.

I also hope they will drop the non-marketable, non-giftable arcanas practice.
