What is pros and cons of dedicated server? Have 3 buddies that are interested in playing. Would a server be better, or just take turns on who we join as needed? I've hosted different game servers before so that isn't a bother to me I usually used nitrado as it's easy with xbox,but may do GTX as that seems to be better rated for this game and I've read issues with Nitrado, although I haven't had issues with them in the past.
I'm 50/50 after reading about raids, mounting boss trophies, and some other things.
Things I'm concerned about on dedicated are raids on bases while another player isn't on, or who is on can't beat them and other people's items get destroyed (if builds are close to one another). I also read that doing a boss trophy of some sort may affect other players somehow? I read something someone commented about how a random did that in their server and it messed something up. Ours would be password protected, but I don't want a buddy missing out on something if they aren't there.
