Apex Ranked from the view of a plat player

Dear Devs,

I love Apex- I have been with this game since the beginning. I am not good, but I am not bad at the game. I just want to express my feelings towards ranked.

I hate it.

More specifically, as a plat player, I hate the ranked matchmaking.

I hate being in low plat but placed in lobbies with apex predators and masters players who dont even give me the chance to pull out my gun before I am mowed down. I hate running around the map alone with my teammates' respawn beacons because they breathed and got knocked by some TTV streamer with three wingman shots to the head. I hate looking at the champion squad of three apex predators with a combined kill count of about 100,000.

It is so disheartening and every time my friends and I play ranked for a couple of games we need to take a break because of how discouraging it is. I know I am by no means an expert on how games are designed, but I just wish there was a way to address the skill gap from a gold game to a plat game. So far every plat game I have played there have been diamonds, masters, and most of the time predators our lobby.

I hope to hear other plat players' perspectives on this matter and anyone else who has any thoughts to share. I just know myself and the friends I play with have quite a hard time justifying the way ranked matchmaking currently works.
