The pace of the game has slowed down tremendously. As I'm transitioning towards the higher tiers of silver/gold with my friends people seem to be focusing only on making top 8 to break even on rp and seem to be happy getting even just 1 kill and camping.
Add in a new champion that just makes camping safer, the fast paced game I've enjoyed for the last couple months is quickly devolving into a 5 kill priority game style meta.
Damage really needs to be a relevant factor in the ranked system to promote a diverse option of play styles. This current system seems to only reward those completely focused on ranking up the higher you go. Whereas it should elevate your rank in accordance to all parts of the game whether it be kills, damage, surviving, etc. I really hate when a game tries to force a meta either intentionally or unintentionally.
