Now remember folks, this is my opinion, if you don’t agree you don’t agree. I’m just trying to get the conversation going here….
GUNS:
I was so hyped when a friend told me (while I was at work) that they had moved the snipers to their own class
Finally….less ammo…less spamming shots….wait a second… the G7 is an ASSAULT RIFLE!??
So the sniper rifle that was spammed non stop, incredibly OP….was changed to an assault rifle and is still over powered…. OK respawn….
And the L-star being a regular weapon…..ok at first I thought that would be fine.
Then I start playing…and for one it hits way too hard, and secondly I’m BLIND when people shoot it at me close range.
Please NERF respawn
R99….I can’t get kills with now, yes it’s just 1 point of damage….I’m not even picking it up now because it’s failed me so many times in the past few days.
Devotion: the one change I do agree with…although I don’t understand why there was an increase on magazine size and the stability…..OH LAWD it shoots smoothly now, what was wrong with the old recoil ?
LEGENDS:
Addressing the ones I feel need to be talked about most…
Revenant….slightly disappointing….the idea is great…until you realize your tactical ability stops others….and you don’t have an tactical ability beyond that.
His fast crouch is nice, but his climbing skills are a little short, and he’s terribly slow while doing it.
His ultimate is fine….until there’s a third party waiting at your totem for you to travel back to…
I guess I’m glad he’s not completely overpowered….
Lifeline: patiently waiting for her ultimate to be an AOE heal….
Gibralter: what the hell respawn? When is it time to reduce the gunshield health?
(PS: could have just made all the characters the same size and then scale their abilities to be smaller – gun shield smaller for example. Then you never would have had the headache with small characters and large characters)
Bloodhound: you did good on the buff for his ultimate….any chance his passive will either work better or be less buggy?
Caustic: Four seasons in and teammates still can’t tell the difference between friendly and enemy gas barrels…(cough, cough, wattson traps are different colours)
Also….what in the hell is that skydive emote!? That’s embarrassing, I’m embarrassed, yet wraith and others have cool emotes…caustic is over here humping his barrel and farting out gas.
You could have had him hold it above his head and do front spinning flips whiles it’s out and releasing gas….would have been way cooler
——-
Not to mention teammates still get annoyed when a good caustic is on the team because they get slowed down by friendly gas….being blind is one thing…slowed down is just too far
AUDIO ISSUES:
The whole time this game has been out, every few games I hear (or say myself) “I didn’t even hear them!!!!” OR
“why couldn’t I hear them!”
Maybe you just don’t know how to fix this issue…which is my best bet…
But honesty though? Not hearing a squad of three until they’re 5 feet away putting peacekeeper pellets into my butt cheeks is not cool….
And last but not least
SBMM:
I’m fully aware I’m beating a dead horse here…
I can’t casually enjoy this game anymore, I can’t play with a friend who isn’t as good as me…because they get downed and feel bad about going down so fast and so often.
I can’t hop on after work and just kill 3-4 people a game and be relaxed, now I have to sweat for those 3-4 kills
It’s not about pub stomping, it’s about being stressed out and constantly on edge while trying to play.
I get that in ranked, why would I want it in pubs?
Yes I know “it’s beneficial for the (majority??) of the people who play”
But how are they supposed to get better when they don’t face a challenge?
(You think people who play dark souls games get better because it’s easy and they never die? Nooooo they get better from dying over and over and over again, learning from their mistakes)
Well…. let’s here the debates!
Let’s hear how I’m so terribly wrong!
I hope you are all triggered and actually start talking about everything this season
