Bought G for 25,000g. Asked for a refund the second it was confirmed it didn't feature an improved credit modifier. Props to WG for accommodating me. I didn't bid for Quilin, in spite of of having an obscene amount of credits and basically nothing to spend them on.
I get people who bought the Type because it's, well, a Type. And I get people who bought either tank because they're hardcore tank collectors. I'm no saint. I was willing to put up with the G's appearance if it actually meant anything.
What I don't get is people who genuinely like the way those tanks look. But that's fine, I don't have to. Looks are subjective. I personally think they look kitschy and distasteful.
That's why I wish the hide non-historical elements would keep me from being subjected to them. It's not a huge issue, as they're not exactly common. But they set a dangerous precedent.
