My Tier 10 Regret

So yesterday I purchased my second and third tier 10 tanks. The two tanks were the Patton and the 140. I absolutely love these tanks. The guns feel crisp and reliable, which is what I have found to value most in a tank personally. The 140 is agile and nimble which makes it great for crafty plays. The Patton feels like a sniper that can hold a flank and be a solid support for the heavies. Overall, they just fit what I would expect a medium to do. They have their niches and excel doing them. However, these were not, as you can read from before, my first tier 10s.

My first tier 10 was the 121 and oh boy. I had grinded that line because I had always liked the slick look of the tanks and wanted to get my hands on that high alpha damage they pack. But, while they do hit hard they dont do anything else particularly well. They swing like heavies but take hits like a medium. The gun is not accurate or reliable enough to be a sniper like the Patton. The armour got buffed but why? The chinese tanks used to be known for their alpha from my understanding, but now a bunch of meds have similar levels of dmg but more accurate guns. Idk, I'm a newish player (1500 games) so just maybe its playstyle doesnt jive with how I like to play but it just seems like the tank doesnt do well in really anything. It's just kind of there. I've done well in it before but I find my success is highly situational.

P.S I know the chinese tanks were shit while I was going for them but i still liked the idea for the tanks. High alpha and mobile.

What are your guys thoughts on 121 and what medium line or tech line in general should I go for next???
