[Possibly unpopular] WZ-114 seems to be heavily misunderstood

So far, opinions on this tank have been mostly negative, with players and long time streamers alike arguing that the awful aim time and on the move dispersion kills this tank. They're not wrong, 3.9 seconds aim time and .33 dispersion across the board are terrible numbers for any tank, even the good old KV-2 has better numbers.

However, having followed this tank's development since it was first announced last October, I'm of the opinion that more than a few people have forgotten something.

What I'll quote here is taken directly from WG's official description of the tank, back when it was tested as a Tier 8:

However, its main distinguishing feature among heavy tanks of its tier is a good accuracy of 0.33, which allows for landing more precise shots at weak spots, as well as firing at enemy vehicles from a distance.

and also

Good accuracy opens up a relatively rare opportunity for heavy tanks to fight confidently at medium and long distances.

Considering that WZ-114's stock AP shells have a really high shell velocity for such a gun (1271 m/s) as well as a workable 266mm of penetration, suddenly the idea of this tank being played like a turreted tank destroyer, not unlike a T30, makes far more sense than trying to use it as a bog standard heavy tank, where its poor speed, slow turret traverse, thin side armor and bad DPM and gun handling would make it easy prey for pretty much any of the more popular heavies and brawling mediums.

Now, allow me a disclaimer – I'm not employed or in any way affiliated to WG, and no one forced me to write this post. This is just my opinion as a lime green player, and I'm not trying to sell the WZ-114 to anyone here.

That is to say, I'm not whaty you'd call a "shill".

I just wished to discuss what seems to be a general misunderstanding on what some players expect this tank to do, compared to what it can actually do.
