Season of Thanks

Hey folks!

I know it has been quite a while since I've posted anything much more than a 1 sentence reply here and there.

If you are outside of the United States/Canada, this week may not mean a thing to you, but this is Thanksgiving Week, with this upcoming Thursday being Thanksgiving Day. For those that need some education: https://www.britannica.com/topic/Thanksgiving-Day

It is a very important holiday for us. It is a time for us to give thanks for the bounty and blessings we have, to join together with family and friends in remembrance of the year we have had.

Day after day, week after week, I sit. I read. I observe. Members of the community come and go. Hot-button topics come and go. However, there is one thing that that has yet to come and go, and still sticks around day after day. One thing that drives this community day after day, week after week. That One Thing that hasn't changed is the passion. Whether I agree with you, am neutral to you, or disagree with you – I can still feel your passion. You folks are our Community.

You all are what drive me to keep returning. When I'm frustrated with work, with life, or with whatever it is in general, your passion still ignites something deep within. When I think that flame that used to drive me has gone out, someone here always finds a way to spark it and get it burning again.

To the players, to the mod team, to the various WG Employees that are also here, I just want to say the following:

Thank you. Thank you for being you. Thank you for giving me folks to play this game with. Thank you for giving me folks to play the game against. Thank you for supporting a game that I have enjoyed so much over the years..
