What am I doing wrong?

Hey, thanks for looking! So I started WoT almost 2 months ago. I have 826 games under my belt. My personal rating is 1407, average damage 80.16, average XP 191. WN8 is in the "Very bad" category. I know…I'm not breaking any records. Well, that's why I'm writing this. I've put a LOT of time into this game — and I love it. But, I feel like given the amount of time playing I'm still very low on the totem pole. I've spent lots of time on YouTube as well, trying to learn from others. So, do I just SUCK at this, or is my experience normal? Or maybe it's the skill ability of my crew? On my 23 tanks I have lots of 100% commanders I paid gold to train, and a bunch of crew in the 80 – 90 % range so far. None of my crew have finished their first skill yet, but some are close…even after almost 900 games! What do I need to do? I'm getting a bit discouraged…and would really appreciate your help. Thank you!
