Faking Wiring

Wiring is one of the most common tasks to fake (see what I did there?) because of it's extreme ambiguity. They are, apparently, random, so Imposters will always use the excuse, "I was doing wiring." However, there is a method to the madness of the wiring algorithm.

There are some wires that are never first, some only come after others. So, the next time you see someone breaking these rules when it comes to wiring, you'll know exactly what's up.

First up, on the Skeld, there are 4 things that never happen.

1) Fix Wiring never begins with Cafeteria or Security

2) Fix Wiring never ends at Electrical or Storage

3) If a player is assigned to the panel in Electrical, it always comes first

4) If a player is assigned to the panel in Security, it always comes last

So, if you see someone go fix security wiring, then electrical wiring, you will know exactly who the imposter is.

On Mira HQ, there are also certain do-nots.

1) Fix Wiring never begins with Greenhouse or Laboratory.

2) Fix Wiring never ends at Storage or Hallway

3) If a player is assigned to the panel in Storage, it always comes first

4) If a player is assigned to the panel in the Laboratory, it always comes last

Finally, Polus has 4 similar things that will never happen.

1) Fix Wiring never begins with Laboratory. This goes for both of the panels there; near Decontamination or above the vent located in the Bathroom

2) Fix Wiring never ends at Electrical or O2

3) If a player is assigned to the panel in Electrical, it always comes first

4) If a player is assigned to the panel in the Bathroom located in the Laboratory, it always comes last

So, next time someone says that they were doing wiring, big-brain them with these few rules!
