I made a follow-along video guide to help beginners learn Interchange, and it’s my best one yet. (I’m still new to making guides)

The what

Hey Reddit, I would like to share Learn Interchange 01 with you today. It’s a linear map learning guide meant to be followed from a second screen in an offline raid. I guide players from Emercom to Railway along a route composed of extracts, task locations, and key spawns, along with a couple other points of interest.

I keep camera movement to a minimum and include additional supportive information that includes an animated mini-map, Tarkov wiki references, and callouts. My goal with this video is to simplify the new player map learning experience.

The why

I find learning maps particularly overwhelming. Originally, when I finally started learning a map other than Customs, I did what most players do and went to YouTube and grabbed one of Pestily’s guides to follow along with. I truly appreciate his commitment to helping players learn but I found his skill level was almost unapproachable to me. He moves very quickly and his camera movement showcases just how high a level of knowledge he has. I found it difficult to follow and the amount of times I would rewind the video just to understand where he went next was almost comical. So I decided to make my own.

The how

During my journey, I discovered just how difficult it is to make quality content, and I have renewed respect for those who put in the time and effort to do so. I spent many many hours working on this one in particular; it was no small task.

I hope this content finds those who will benefit from it. Thanks for taking the time to check it out.
