Idea for Devs – Lox Usability

fictional character

In short: pack mule.

An addition to, or instead of, a saddle, the ability to craft a ‘pack’ for a Lox.

Interacting with the Lox makes it follow you. Do so again, makes it stay.

Would mean longer, overnight stays around the plains, as you clear out the villages and tar pits.

Maybe continual cloud berries improve their stamina so that they can carry heavy loads.

In terms of storage size: anything less than 4 slots would be a waste of time. With more slots then the prospect of overburdening the Lox becomes the thing to manage.

A caravan of Lox would be amazing to try and manage. Bigger risk of losing them, bigger reward if you can keep them alive.

Tame Lox would be a target for Furlings. But they need to be able to rear up when frightened as a defense. This would also run the risk of damaging the player(s).

Maybe they run off when hit too many times and have to be calmed by interacting with no enemies nearby – much like the ‘resting’ perk which takes a short time.

Do I need to tag devs? I don’t post much.
