If you’re struggling as a player, and you still don’t know the map you’re playing well, this should be your top priority to learn.

When playing a map you should know where all the extracts are (for both scav and PMC).

You should know where at least 50% of the loot is.

You need to understand the value of the loot you take.

You should be familiar with most major points of interest as well. Basically anything that has a name on one of the many callouts maps.

Oh and ammo. For goodness sake, look up NoFoodAfterMidnights ammo chart. If you’re confused by it and need help just DM me.

This game is a struggle beyond struggles if you don’t have that knowledge down. I get that for some it’s not very fun to play in offline mode, or even if you do you don’t know where to start.

What I’m telling you above is where to start.

I love the maps listed at this site. It contains all the loot, all the task locations, and all the extracts. I think the only map not available in this format is reserve and the person is working on it.

If you find this process overwhelming still, I personally run map learning sessions twice per week in the evenings (6pm PST Tuesday and Sunday). Happy to share info if folks would like to join on their request. During these sessions I take my time and help out folks who don’t get the game so well yet too. I have a 15+ year training background and patience for days.

The more folks we help out, the less people will be looking for help by things like buying rubles.
