A Call To Arms – HIP 22460

This is a call to arms for any player, new, old, experienced AX combat, newbie AX combat.

Had a spare 20 mins yesterday and dropped into one of the Capital Ship Thargoid battles. Honestly, was one of the best experiences in the game since my first AX Combat Zone. Whatever your ability, if your new, experienced or never done AX combat before go, and go this weekend. You can make a ton of money with just lasers as the Thargoid Scouts focus on the Capitol ship, get hammered by its defences and you can just fire a laser to get the Bond. While the experienced AX players take the Interceptor or Hydra you can fly in at the end, land a few shots and get the bounty. I made about 80-85million in 20 mins as I arrived just as the hydra was kicking off – there was around 5 human players in the battle.

If you are new, get bi-weave shields, lasers, ax-multicannons (option) a few heat sinks and jump in.

I’m off on a Stag weekend, but looking forward to jumping back on the stick on Sunday – I got a fleet carrier to buy. Might be worth holding onto the bonds for next weeks CG.
