I miss tarkov when loot was abundant on all maps and there was no fir status

.12 to .12.6 was the golden age of Tarkov. It was also when the game exploded with the first twich drops. But the game was action packed all raid, fights happening everywhere, and the server felt alive as players didn't mind dying as much with gear or saw it as worthwhile to risk killing someone else for their gear. On top of this no heavy-handed weight penalties so you could actually loot in a looter shooter. Now it's a disadvantage to pvp, as you can't sell their gear if you win, and can't sell yours if you die. Maps feel mostly empty expect for early raid fights on the few good loot spawns. And while they reduced hatchet running I instead just see a bunch of John wicks or double barrels running around that still try to leave just as fast as the hatchlings of old.

I would like BSG to try for a week, to bring back old flea and remove fir. Just so the community can see and decide it we want that back. No stupid taxes, allow rubbles to flow, no fir to make people flee instantly. Let's see how the game feels. I guarantee it will be a net positive. Don't even tweak loot spawns just let us see what its like right now with other restrictions removed.

Also to those saying it will make hacking bad. Its already bad get over yourself. And secondly, they already said they look at absurd flea listings as proof of hacking. So they could easily monitor that. But even still, those absurd listings and players still exist on flea so we all know that's a joke. I don't care if hacking goes up marginally if the entire community has a more enjoyable time actually playing.
