I’m addicted to rehabing stone towers

I can't help it. I don't even want to build new bases anymore unless they incorporate a stone tower. I have at least a dozen of these towers scattered about the map on various islands. Sometimes I just board them up as best as I can to make a temp shelter, or portal hub. Other's I've turned into the centerpiece of a full on base. I have a lookout tower at the top of one. I use the broken ones to build fireplaces on upper floors. I've got a balcony on another.

And this is before having found the stone crafting table. This is the first game that has made me actually enjoy base building. I never do this in other games that have the ability to build bases. I usually make something small and functional. This game? I'm trying to see what else I can cram or redesign. I'm thinking of expanding out the balcony so I can put my smelter and charcoal mills on it. I want to build a self contained tower. I kinda want to see how high up I can go.

I think I may have a problem but I don't care.
