Solved.
The apply filter to route does not work unless you replot the route manually and I had messed up star classes. If I come across a related bug I will repost or resurrect this one.
Odyssey issue. Has anyone else found that you can no longer filter routes for star class from the Galaxy Map? I have repeatedly tried but the Apply to Filter button does nothing. It does not refresh the path and will not "recalculate route" as an option. Worse, when I manually cancel the route and reroute with the star classes filtered, the galaxy map will give me a new route. But the new route still includes stars from the omitted classes. It is as though the Apply to Filter function has been stealth removed from the game.
