So everyone has been in a squad on tarkov and had a situation where you saw someone and didn't think they were your teammate and started BLASTING. For me and my discord, it seems to be a thing every single wipe as people are warming back up to tarkov. Then after some time, people will chat about it and banter but occasionally it will really upset someone. When that happens sometimes a friend will be really mad at a different friend and of course, you still wanna play with both and you know they didn't mean to do it.
This is where my really stupid idea comes in: put simply if your teammate kills you and you grab the evidence – now have full permission to kill them back anytime in the future.
This can obviously be edited in a million different ways. Some examples are you add a time limit. "You have one week for revenge" or you make a small jury and determine who is guilty ( based on callouts and many other things in the situation)
; Now I teamkilled my friend but the jury decided it was justified because he said he was inside the building and he was clearly not.
; Or my friend just teamkilled me while 2 seconds ago I called out that I was heading into his room. Now, 10 raids later I decided all that loot he just got is now mine.
Another less extreme option is : If your teammate kills you now they have to upgrade your gear while also dropping the insured stuff / bringing some of it back.
Idk I think this is a lovely idea to make teamkilling less of a bummer. The feeling of welp now I gotta wait 20 minutes for my friends to get out of the raid, buy more gear, do my task again, and hope they don't accidentally do it again. Also it makes it easier to take the game as just a game because you aren't as mad at your friend who just killed you but now have some way to get some justice IN GAME instead of liking them less now.
